The Golden Nook began with a simple idea: create a place where people could slow down, get lost in a good book, enjoy a great cup of coffee, and maybe make a four-legged friend along the way.

Inspired by a love of reading, cozy spaces, coffee, and golden retrievers, The Golden Nook is more than a bookstore. It’s a place built around community, comfort, and the joy of discovering your next favorite story.

Named in honor of our golden retriever mascots, Murphy and Audie, The Golden Nook brings together everything we love—books, coffee, dogs, and a welcoming space where everyone can feel at home.

We’re starting small and growing one story at a time, bringing The Golden Nook to local communities through pop-ups and vendor markets as we work toward our dream of opening a permanent bookstore and coffee shop.

Because we believe every good story deserves a cozy place to be told.
